Who We Are
Rachel Simpfenderfer LMFT #154488
Therapist

Hi, I’m Rachel, a licensed Marriage and Family Therapist passionate about helping all people navigate life’s challenges with confidence, clarity, and compassion. My approach is rooted in authenticity and deep respect for each person’s unique journey.

My practice is client-centered, meaning you set the pace—we walk the path together. Whether you’re facing anxiety, emotionally overwhelmed, or having relationship difficulties, I’m here to support you with empathy and evidence-based strategies that honor your lived experience.

I enjoy and am experienced working with women and children and since I have ADHD myself, I have a particular focus on ADHD symptom management. So often, the signs of ADHD—especially in girls and women—go unnoticed or misunderstood. I’m passionate about helping my clients understand how their brains work, develop tools for success, and build self-worth rooted in their strengths, not their struggles.

I’m not here to “fix” you—because you’re not broken. I’m here to help you reconnect with your own power, find balance, and create meaningful change from the inside out.
Cynthia Avila AMFT #143201
Associate Therapist
Hi everyone! My name is Cynthia, and I am a therapist in Lodi, CA.

As a bilingual therapist (English/Spanish), I enjoy working with children, teens, adults, and relational dyads such as mother-daughter pairs. My work is deeply rooted in trauma-informed care, with a focus on helping individuals and families heal from past wounds and navigate the emotional impacts of relational and developmental trauma. I support clients through life transitions, identity exploration, and interpersonal challenges with compassion and cultural sensitivity.

Currently pursuing a doctorate in Marriage and Family Therapy, I bring a systemic lens to the work, recognizing how our relationships, histories, and cultural contexts shape us. I am especially passionate about creating greater access to care for Spanish-speaking communities. I aim to provide a space where all parts of your story are welcome.

Whether you're facing long-standing trauma, recent emotional pain, or relationship strain, I’m here to offer empathy, clarity, and support. Taking the first step can be the hardest, but it can also be the most courageous. Please reach out for a consultation to explore how we might work together.
